The beta is over. VegaLoop is released, and we are launching it this weekend at the Twin Cities Marathon, the TC Half Marathon, and the TC 10 Mile.

The expo opens today at the Saint Paul RiverCentre, the races go off Sunday morning, and for the first time the platform has a booth, a crowd, and thousands of runners in front of it. We opened a public beta in August to find out what broke when real people used it every day. Two months of that feedback later, the beta label comes off. What you sign up for today is the released product. We have been building toward this for a long time, and it feels right that the first place we show up in person is a start line.

Why launch at a marathon

VegaLoop exists because nutrition, training, and recovery are one system, and the apps most people use treat them as three. Nobody lives that connection more vividly than someone at the end of a marathon block. Sixteen weeks of long runs taught you exactly what happens when Thursday’s dinner is wrong for Saturday’s 20-miler. Taper week is teaching you right now that eating less because you ran less is a trap. Race day will give you honest feedback on all of it.

The Twin Cities Marathon also draws the range of people we built this for. Elite runners chasing qualifying times, yes, but also first-time marathoners, parents who trained through summer heat behind a stroller, and 10 Mile runners who started with a 5K two years ago and kept going. A platform that works for a twentieth marathon should work just as well for a first race of any distance. This weekend is where we find out how well we did.

What’s launching

VegaLoop, released. The beta is finished and the platform is out. Anyone can create a free account with email, Apple, or Google. No invite, no waitlist, no beta label. The free account includes the unified daily dashboard, nutrition and meal logging, activity tracking across seven sport types, goal setting with automatic progress, and device sync with the major fitness platforms. It is free today and it stays free. Everything beta users logged carries forward untouched, and the one thing that changes for them is that the product they helped shape is now the product everyone gets.

A free post-race recovery plan. Every finisher of the marathon, the half marathon, and the 10 Mile can claim a recovery plan built for the distance they just raced. It combines nutrition targets for the days after the race with scheduled recovery runs, so the question of “what should I eat and when do I run again?” has an answer waiting in your account instead of a guess. The plan goes live race week. Create your free account now and it will be there when you need it. No payment required.

Custom pace bands at the booth. Tell us your goal time and we print a band with mile-by-mile splits adjusted for the actual course and the race-day forecast. An even-split band assumes a flat course and perfect weather. The climb up to Summit Avenue is exactly where that plan falls apart. We build bands for the marathon and the TC 10 Mile, and we are handing out discount codes to everyone who stops by. The expo post has the full rundown.

VegaLoop Plus, with a 14-day free trial. Plus adds the intelligence layer: cross-domain insights that connect what you ate to how you trained to how you recovered, training load and readiness, and premium goals with structured workout and nutrition plans. It is $17.99 a month or $129 a year, every subscription starts with a 14-day trial, and the details are on the pricing page.

If you’re racing Sunday

Race week is not the time for experiments. Your fitness was built over the training block; taper is about shedding fatigue while keeping fueling, sleep, and familiar routines in place. Keep carbohydrate intake up in the 36 to 48 hours before the start, spread across normal meals rather than one enormous dinner, and do not try a new gel because it came free in your expo bag. We covered the numbers in our piece on carb loading.

Then, when you cross the line, let the recovery plan take over for a few days. That is what it is for.

If you’re nowhere near Minnesota

The release does not care where you are. Sign up, log a meal, connect your watch, set a goal that means something to you, and come back tomorrow. The platform gets more useful every day you feed it, and launch weekend is just the day we started saying so out loud.

Where to find us

The Twin Cities Health & Fitness Expo runs Friday, October 2, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. The expo is open to the public, so you do not need a bib to come say hello. We will be at the booth both days, bands printing, platform running live.

Stop by, tell us what is working for you and what is not, and go run a great race. Welcome to the loop.
