About VegaLoop
Mile eighteen of a twenty-mile training run. Everything was on pace. Then, without warning, the legs stopped cooperating. Not the gradual fade of a hard effort. A wall.
The training plan said this run should have been manageable. The fitness was there. The mileage had been building for weeks. So what went wrong?

The answer was in the kitchen, not the training log. Three consecutive days of under-eating during the heaviest training block of the cycle. Over 2,400 calories of deficit across the week. The body simply didn't have the fuel to do what was being asked of it.
The running app had every split, every heart rate reading, every elevation gain. The food app had every meal. But neither one could see what was obvious when you looked at both: the training was fine. The fueling wasn't.
That's the moment VegaLoop started. Not with a business plan or a pitch deck, but with a simple question: why doesn't anything connect these dots?
A prototype proved the concept. When training load and nutrition data live in the same system, you see things no single app can show you. Readiness assessments that factor in what you ate. Recovery scores that know whether you fueled enough to adapt. The kind of insight that used to require a coach cross-referencing spreadsheets.

That prototype became VegaLoop. A ground-up rebuild combining engineering and health and wellness expertise into a platform designed to be genuinely enjoyable to use. Training load models from sports science. Nutrition insights grounded in real dietary practice. Connected in ways that are automatic, personal, and actionable.
Today we serve individual users. Runners, lifters, parents trying to eat better, anyone who wants to understand how their habits connect.
But the platform is designed to grow. Coaching relationships where professionals can see the full picture. Communities built around shared goals and accountability. A future where the data you're already collecting actually works for you.

Your data stays yours.
Health data is personal. We take a security-first approach to everything we build. Private by default, with consent-based sharing that puts you in control of exactly what's visible and to whom.
Our team brings deep experience in secure systems architecture. Security isn't a feature we bolt on later. It's a foundational design constraint that shapes every decision we make.

Connecting nutrition and fitness isn't just for endurance athletes. It's for anyone who wants to understand their health as one system.
We're building the platform for it.
